Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-04-25
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of LumensHub (the “Service”), including the website at lumenshub.com, the wallet application at app.lumenshub.com, the cross-chain bridge, and any related APIs, SDKs, or integrations. By using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if all of the following are true:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
- You are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or a national of any country subject to comprehensive U.S. or international sanctions (currently including but not limited to North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine).
- You are not on any list of restricted persons or entities maintained by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, or any equivalent authority.
- You have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- You are not prohibited from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction.
3. Service Description
LumensHub provides two technically distinct services with different custody models:
3.1 Non-Custodial Wallet
The Stellar wallet you create through the Service generates and stores its private key encrypted in your browser. We do not have access to your private key, your password, or your recovery phrase. You are solely responsible for safeguarding these credentials. Loss of your password without a valid recovery phrase results in permanent loss of access to the funds in that wallet, and no recovery is possible.
3.2 Custodial Bridge
The bridge component is custodial during the brief window between deposit confirmation on a source chain (e.g. Polygon, XRP Ledger, Solana) and the corresponding mint on Stellar. During that window your assets are held in LumensHub-controlled wallets. We take reasonable precautions, but there is no guarantee of safety. Use only amounts you are prepared to lose.
4. Fees
We charge a flat 0.1%bridge fee on the deposited amount. This fee is deducted before minting on Stellar (for deposits) or before payout on the source chain (for withdrawals). You separately pay the source-chain network fee (gas) and a Stellar network fee (currently ~0.00001 XLM per operation). We may revise fees with at least thirty (30) days' notice; your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
5. User Obligations
You agree that you will not, and will not assist any third party to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, market manipulation, or violation of intellectual property rights;
- use the Service while located in or otherwise from a sanctioned jurisdiction (see Section 2);
- provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any interaction with the Service or with our support team;
- attempt to interfere with the operation of the Service, including by overwhelming our infrastructure, exploiting vulnerabilities, or accessing data not intended for you;
- circumvent any technical, geographic, or compliance restriction we have implemented;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent.
6. Compliance & Sanctions Screening
We screen every deposit and withdrawal against the U.S. OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list and may, at our sole discretion, freeze, refuse, or unwind any transaction we believe to involve a sanctioned party, illicit proceeds, or activity prohibited by applicable law. We may report suspicious activity to relevant authorities and cooperate with subpoenas, court orders, and law-enforcement requests.
7. Risks & Disclaimers
Use of the Service involves substantial risk. You acknowledge and accept the risks described in our Risk Disclosure, including but not limited to: smart-contract failure, network outages, congestion, oracle failure, liquidity shortages on Stellar DEX, key loss, regulatory action, and the inherent volatility of cryptocurrency.
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will LumensHub, its directors, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including loss of profit, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or loss of cryptocurrency value — arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to LumensHub in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LumensHub from and against any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms or suspected illicit activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12) will so survive.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TBD by counsel], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration administered by [ARBITRATION BODY TBD by counsel]. You waive any right to participate in a class action or representative proceeding.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email if we have one on file, at least fifteen (15) days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Contact
